The quest for a compressed sparsebundle
I’d like to have a compressed and encrypted sparsebundle to put my subversion checkouts into. However it’s currently not possible to have both, sparse images and compression, with hdiutil.
The best workaround I found currently is to repartion the sparsebundle to ZFS and enable compression via zfs. Main drawback to this solution however is that you have to mount and unmount the image...
